Zaharie Breharu a urmat studiile teologice la Blaj devenind preot greco-catolic. S-a căsătorit cu Zoe şi au avut trei copii: Zoe (Zoiţa), Gelu şi Dorel. În fotografia de mai sus sunt prezenţi toţi seminariştii anului I de la Academia de Teologie din Blaj. Zaharie e pe rândul 3 de sus în jos, poziţia 3 de la stânga la dreapta. Mai jos este aceeaşi fotografie, pe verso. Blaj, 06/1931 Zaharie Breharu followed the theological studies becaming a priest of the Catholic Church of Byzantine rite in Romania.
